Brill Hilly 2013

10k Start

The Brill Hilly is a 10k road race that takes place in Brill, Buckinghamshire.  Starting at the famous windmill with breathtaking views of Oxon and Bucks it winds its way through Ludgershall and then back up Tramhill to finish on the sports fields.  A real challenging course with a 1000m ascent to finish – this race is worth at least 12k!!  The perfect final London Marathon warm-up!

There is an all comers 1km Fun Run and a “Dash” for the smallest of runners.  All our potential Mo Farrah’s and Pauline Radcliffes come out to have fun with a Dash around the cricket pitch.

What you have said about the race

Well organised, enjoyable run. THE hill makes it very memorable! Stuart Matthews, 2012

Lovely (but challenging) race. Due to the already mentioned hill, not sure it is for a beginner. But as a race it was great. Well-organised, inexpensive, very scenic (start by a windmill and run through several nice villages) with plenty of encouragement from marshalls as well as locals. That hill is a bit of a beast though! Ben Feltham, 2012

Lovely village race starting and finishing on top of a big hill. Gastroplodder 2012

A lovely scenic 10k with a huge long hill at the end. Also very friendly with nice crowd and effficient and encoraging marshalls.Maybe a bit too challenging for the complete beginner due to the last 4k all being up a ever increasoing hill. But if you like a challenge and get as nice weather as there was this year then it is a very nice race. The Phantom, 2012

Lovely village race, well organised – challenging hill at the end but makes it special! Heidi, 2012

A nice 10km race organised well. Big hill at the end to keep you honest! Kevin McMillan, 2011
